Raising High-Quality Pigs
Our show pig operation is built on dedication, daily care, and a commitment to raising high-quality animals from the ground up. We operate a full farrow-to-finish program, meaning every pig we sell will be cared for by us from day one. From the moment piglets are born through the show season, we are hands-on every step of the way.
We take pride in doing things the right way, putting time into genetics, nutrition, training, and youth support to produce competitive, well-managed show pigs.
Genetics Matter
Great show pigs start with great genetics. We carefully select high-quality boars and utilize artificial insemination to consistently improve structure, muscle, growth, and overall performance. Each breeding decision is intentional, focused on producing uniform, competitive litters that meet today’s show ring standards.
By investing in proven genetics, we offer pigs that have the foundation needed to succeed, not just look good early, but continue to improve throughout the feeding period.
Custom Nutrition & Feed Rations
Nutrition plays a critical role in developing a successful show pig. We work hard creating and adjusting custom feed rations based on age, size, condition, and goals for each pig. Feed is not a one-size-fits-all approach; it’s carefully managed to promote muscle development, soundness, and overall health.
This hands-on feeding program allows us to guide pigs through every growth stage while helping youth exhibitors learn how nutrition impacts performance.
Training & Daily Handling
Show pigs are made through daily interaction. We spend time training, handling, and working with our pigs to ensure they are calm, manageable, and prepared for the show ring. This daily work builds trust between animal and handler and helps pigs reach their full potential.
We also work closely with youth exhibitors to teach proper handling techniques, showmanship skills, and daily care routines.
Supporting Local 4-H Families
Supporting local 4-H programs is a cornerstone of our show pig operation. We work directly with families to help youth exhibitors select, raise, and manage their projects from the beginning. Our goal is to provide not just a pig, but ongoing support throughout the feeding and show season.

Show Pigs vs. Commercial Field Pigs
Show pigs are very different from the average commercial or field-raised pig. While both are valuable, they are bred and managed with different goals in mind.
Show pigs are selected for:

Show pigs require significantly more hands-on management, specialized feeding programs, and daily training. The extra time, care, and attention are what set them apart and allow them to compete at a high level in the show ring.
The dedication doesn’t stop when the pigs leave our farm; we remain a resource for families throughout the project.
Showing cattle teaches responsibility, work ethic, and respect for livestock, and we work closely with families to help ensure success both in and out of the ring.
