Dedication Is Our Foundation

Our show cattle operation is rooted in purpose, productivity, and longevity. As first-generation farmers, we’ve built our program from the ground up with a strong belief that great cattle start with thoughtful breeding, daily care, and respect for the animal. We focus primarily on Maine Anjou cattle, a breed we believe offers unmatched balance between performance, structure, and functionality.

From calving season through long winter days of feeding, our cattle receive hands-on care every step of the way. Dedication isn’t optional; it’s the foundation of our operation.

Why Maine Anjou?

We have chosen to center our program around Maine Anjou cattle because of their versatility and purpose. Originally developed in France, Maine Anjous are known for combining muscle, maternal strength, and longevity traits that matter both in the show ring and in real-world production. Maine Anjou cattle are known for:

  • Strong maternal instincts and excellent mothering ability

  • Structural soundness and longevity

  • Natural muscle and growth performance

  • Calm, manageable dispositions

  • Versatility for both show and commercial production

Cattle should work for you long term, not just for a single show season. That’s why we prioritize durability, fertility, and functional structure in every breeding decision.

Longevity at the Core of Our Program

Longevity is one of the most important traits we select for. Cows that stay sound, productive, and healthy year after year are the backbone of a sustainable operation. We focus on:

  • Structural correctness and sound feet and legs

  • Udder quality and maternal efficiency

  • Fertility and calving ease

  • Overall durability and adaptability

By breeding cattle that last, we’re building a program designed for the future, not just the banner picture.

Show & Youth Cattle

Supporting youth livestock programs is a priority for us. We proudly raise and sell 4-H market steers as well as replacement heifers suited for both show and production environments. Our cattle are selected and developed with youth exhibitors in mind, balanced, structurally correct, and manageable.

Showing cattle teaches responsibility, work ethic, and respect for livestock, and we work closely with families to help ensure success both in and out of the ring.

Quality of Life Comes First

We feel strongly that cattle should have the best quality of life possible. Our cattle are:

  • Raised on pasture during the grazing season

  • Grain fed to ensure proper growth and a high-quality end product

  • Provided clean water, comfortable shelter, and attentive daily care

Healthy, stress-free cattle perform better, last longer, and produce better results, and that’s something we never compromise on.

Hands On, Every Day

From the first calf hitting the ground to the final feeding chore of the day, we are fully hands-on. Calving season means long nights and close monitoring to ensure both cows and calves get the best possible start. Winter brings long days of feeding, bedding, and management, but it’s work we’re proud to do.

As first-generation farmers, everything we have is earned through effort, learning, and persistence. The dedication is real, and it shows in the cattle we raise.

Belted Galloway Cattle

In addition to our Maine Anjou program, we also maintain a small group of Belted Galloway cattle. Known for their hardiness, efficiency, and unique appearance, Belted Galloways add diversity to our operation and align with our focus on durability and low-maintenance cattle that thrive in pasture-based systems.

Built With Purpose, Raised With Pride

Our show cattle program reflects who we are: purpose-driven, hardworking, and committed to raising cattle the right way. Whether you’re looking for a competitive 4-H project, a replacement heifer, or cattle bred for longevity and productivity, we’re proud to stand behind every animal we raise.

We don’t cut corners, and we don’t chase shortcuts. Our livestock program is built on dedication, long hours, and a genuine passion for producing top-quality cattle. Whether you’re looking for your next show project or a breeding animal you can trust, we’re proud to stand behind everything we raise.
